How do you like them apples?Posted by Matthew on October 13th, 2006After spending literally hours slaving over my Last Crusade strip for your enjoyment, it was met with a typical response from our Antipodean readers: “I didn’t think it was very funny.” Ever eager to answer my detractors, I am, to use the parlance of our times, bringing back the funny. I hope you’re happy, Hamish. Both Gabe and Scott Kurtz have suddenly been struck by a desire to showcase their modus operandi, using the ubiquitous technology of Youtube. I found both of their videos to be extremely illuminating (Gabe’s and Scott’s), and have already made drastic alterations to my creative procedure based on what these eyes have seen. Gabe even has me practicing with my Wacom, to see if I can take this strip completely digital sometime in the future. We shall see. EDIT: One of the problems of being behind in your arc (yes, it’s an arc. I’d like to see yours) and a sporadic updater is that you miss out on posting date-specific strips.
